I recently purchased a magazine for my Beretta Bobcat model 21A pistol, but it won't work? - beretta model 626e

The magazine says that 25ACP rounds my gun and said he had to 22LR or 25 cars so I thought it would work, but I have a 22LR rounds and not in the magazine. My understanding is the weapon, fired two rounds will be loaded but the only magazine 25Auto, is this correct?
